Administrative Receptionist Needed in Moorpark, CA (in-person only)

A leading Manufacturing Company is seeking a professional full time Administrative Receptionist for a long-term permanent role.

Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm

Pay: $20 - $24/hour

POSITION SUMMARY

The first point of contact for the company, the Receptionist will offer administrative support across the organization, welcome guests, greet visitors, handle inquiries by phone and in person, and provide information about the organization to the public, clients, and customers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receptionist's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Greet internal and external visitors as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate party.

· Answer the phone in a professional and timely manner and screen and forward calls.

· Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.

· Maintain security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges.

· Assist visitors with electronic sign-ins.

· Create and manage digital and hard copy filing systems.

· Provide general administrative and clerical support.

· Prepare correspondence and documents.

· Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.

· Prepare outgoing mail and packages.

· Monitor and maintain office equipment.

· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures).

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.

· A minimum of 3-5 years of customer service/office experience.

· Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

· Ability to display a positive and professional demeanor.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.

· Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.

· Regular and prompt attendance

· Ability to work cooperatively with others
